As a proud Bahamian, Nicole (or “Nikki”, as she is affectionately called) has worked for decades to develop a unique resort. Nikki built the resort one nail at a time after banks kept shutting her down. Like many, the banks thought that a hotel near the airport would never be successful.

We don’t like to play favorites, but this villa named after our favorite place in the world, the Exuma Cays—is our pride and joy. Inside this immaculate villa, you’ll find subtleties that commemorate and signify the things that make the Exuma Cays special. From swimming pigs, to sailing champions, the two storey masterpiece signifies all that is amazing about its namesake. Perfect for families.
MAYAGUANA – 1 Bedroom
Steeped in the history of the Bahamas, Mayaguana villa is named after one of the only islands to hold onto its Lucayan name. The first villa to be constructed at EMBRACE Resort, you’ll find all of the modern amenities and beauty you’d expect from an upscale villa—with a hint of history.
BIMINI – 2 Bedroom
Bimini island is known as the game fishing capital of the Bahamas, and this villa honors that. Bimini villa is the perfect getaway for those who want a taste of the bounty of the ocean. Painted in beautiful blue hues, this gorgeous villa reminds you of the beauty of the water at every turn. Perfect for a family of four or two couples. Can be used as a single villa, or locked off as two 1 bedroom villas. Each villa also has a sitting area with a sofa bed.

At one time, outdoor, open-fire cooking was very common in the Bahamas. This gorgeous villa, with its hues of orange and red, harken back to the simpler days. Snorkel in Thunderball Grotto
This cave is one of the most magnificent snorkel spots in the world. As a protected area, it allows all of the underwater wildlife to roam freely. The cave is adorned with beautiful coral and enchanting architecture. Featured in several films such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash, Into The Blue, and its namesake 007: Thunderball—this grotto is a snorkling, or swimmer’s paradise.
Swim With Sharks at Compass Cay Marina
Don’t worry, the sharks at Compass Cay are tamed, trained, are super-friendly. In fact, they love to be pet! Swim with sharks, feed the sharks, or if you’re not quite comfortable with that, they’ll swim up onto the dock so you can pet them!

Getting Here
Staniel Cay is located in the Exuma Cays just 82 miles away from Nassau, Bahamas. We’re just 30 minutes away by flight from Nassau and about 3 hours including stopovers from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Staniel Air and Makers Air have scheduled service from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, to/from Staniel Cay twice per day. Titan Air and Flamingo Air have scheduled service twice each day to/from the island from Nassau, Bahamas. Charter flights by Graceful Wings Charters and other flight carriers can also be arranged. Please contact us for details to arrange. Staniel Cay does not have any ferry services from Nassau. If you are coming by boat there are two marinas on the island which are Isles General which is just steps away from EMBRACE Resort and also the Staniel Cay Yacht Club which is a few minutes away by golf cart.
We do not recommend coming to Staniel Cay through Georgetown, Exuma (GGT) because there are no scheduled flights or ferries between there and Staniel Cay. If required, we can assist to arrange a charter flight.
EMBRACE Resort offers complimentary airport and marina transfers for all of our guests!
