What’s on Your Mind?
Do you have grocery stores in Staniel Cay?
Yes. We have three grocery stores on Staniel Cay. The closest one to us is the Isles General Store, which is only a 5-minute walk from our resort and is right across from the airport. The other two stores are the Pink Store and the Blue Store, owned by two brothers and located side by side in the central area of Staniel Cay.
Do you provide beach towels?
Yes. All of our rooms include beach towels, as well as small coolers for enjoying your drinks out on the sand.
Do you offer early check-in?
We offer complimentary early check-in for our guests, provided that the villa or beach house is available.
What kind of accommodations do you offer?
We have villas with 1-3 bedrooms at our EMBRACE Resort. We also offer vacation home rentals, which can accommodate 2-10 people, depending on the property.
Are your properties beachfront?
Some of our vacation home rentals, such as Beach Cottage and Shell, are beachfront homes. Although luxurious, the EMBRACE Resort is not beachfront but is instead located near the airport. For this reason, we try to make up for it by providing personalized service to our guests as well as having a pool and Jacuzzi available. And since the island is less than 2 sq mi., none of the beaches are very far away!
Do you offer event planning services for birthday parties, corporate retreats, family reunions, and other events?
Absolutely! Take a look at our events page to see how we can help you plan your perfect gathering in the Bahamas, or check out our groups and incentive vacation packages.
Can you help me find flights to Staniel Cay?
Sure! We can help you find flights to Staniel Cay from anywhere in the world. Just send us the airport you’ll be departing from and the dates you’re interested in visiting, and we’ll get the best available quote for you.
When is the best time to visit Staniel Cay or the Exumas Cays?
It depends on what you’re looking for! Our peak times are Christmas, New Year's, Spring Break, the 4th of July, Bahamian Independence Day, and the first week in August. The months of June and July are our high season and therefore the most busy. Low season is usually mid-August to mid-November, so that’s the time to visit if you want to avoid crowds. Those wanting to sunbathe, though, should keep in mind that it’s our rainy season.
Do you offer provisioning or grocery delivery service?
Yes, we do! We can provide provisioning for your accommodation in Staniel Cay and have it all ready for you when you arrive. Whether you’re looking for just a few pieces of fruit and bread or a whole list of items, we can find them for you. Check out our provisioning page to learn more about this service and make your Bahamas holiday even more stress-free!

How can I get around Staniel Cay?
Because the island is so small, golf carts are the best way to get around. There are gravel and tar roads all across Staniel Cay, so it’s easy to get from one place to another. If you’re looking at renting a golf cart, let us know! We recommend reserving one in advance, as they do tend to sell out.
How big is Staniel Cay?
Staniel Cay is about 2 miles long and half a mile wide with a population of a little over 100 residents. Our quaint island is a close-knit community where everyone knows each other, and we’re always excited to have new visitors. Come stay with us—we’re all really friendly and happy to meet you!

Where can I eat on Staniel Cay?
There are only a few restaurants on the island, and one is right at Embrace: The Flying Pig! The Staniel Cay Yacht Club serves breakfast, or you can check Big Dogs Bar & Grill for Carol’s daily special. For lunch and dinner, you have a choice of the Taste & Sea Café or the Staniel Cay Yacht Club. If you’re interested in eating at the Taste & Sea Café for lunch, be sure to place your order by 11:00 am as the food tends to sell out quickly. For dinner you can order at 6:00 pm or dine in until 8:00 pm. Expect to wait 45 minutes to an hour. It’s open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, and we definitely recommend it. It’s local and DELICIOUS!
How do I get to Staniel Cay from George Town, Great Exuma?
It is deceptively difficult (and expensive) to get to Staniel Cay from George Town. Though we are both technically in the Exuma district, there are no daily flights or other forms of transportation between the two islands. The only option is to charter a flight or catch a ride on a tour boat from Great Exuma.
